経歴

1987年，1989年，1992年に東京大学にて学士，修士，博士(工学)の学位を取得．

1992年より東京大学にて助手，1995年から1996年にかけて， Alexander von Humboldt 財団の支援を受け， Berlin の GMD FIRST にて客員研究員．

1997年1月から同年9月まで，理化学研究所 脳情報処理グループにて研究員．

1997年10月からは理化学研究所 脳科学総合研究センター研究員， 1999年4月から2000年3月まで同センター上級研究員．

2000年4月，早稲田大学 電気電子情報工学科に着任し，現在は同大学 電気・情報生命工学科 教授．

研究分野は，ニューラルネットワークなどの学習機械の理論，特に学習の動的特性や統計的特性．
